Why this is the preseason Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Projection

This is one of the bigger guesses among a preseason bowl projection run of guesses.

Could it be Army? Maybe, but it probably won't be bowl eligible by the Navy game.

The former Pac-12 tie-ins open this up to a whole slew of teams, but this probably isn't a fit for any of the former Pac-12 schools now in the Big Ten, and the Big 12 already has an affiliation.

That leaves Oregon State and Washington State as the two most likely options.
