Why this is the preseason Go Bowling Military Bowl Projection
If USF and Georgia Tech are about around 6-6, and at least get bowl eligible, they should be a whole lot of fun and would generate a whole bunch of buzz from their respective bases.
This bowl hasn't been close for a while - it was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 and the three bowls since 2018 were blowouts.
Basically, this bowl should get one of the top teams from the American Athletic Conference other than Tulane - who played in this last year - and the ACC should get a strong 7-5ish team. Pitt, Syracuse, and Boston College will be options.
