The latest SonyLIV web series, Brinda , has taken viewers by storm. With its unique plot following a series of strange killings, the web series stands out as a mystery thriller. Trisha Krishnan plays the titular role in the show, which also stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsami, Jaya Prakash, and Rakendu Mouli.
Brinda ending explained & spoilers
Per SonyLIV, Brinda’s official synopsis reads, “Young, socially awkward yet morally grounded SI cadet Brinda stumbles upon a brutal murder with a chilling modus operandi. As the killer slips through her grasp, she faces personal and bureaucratic turmoil, but the hardest challenge is the moral reckoning that could define her career and conscience.”

Who is the serial killer?
Brinda begins with a flashback scene in which a little girl named Chinni looks for her brother Satya in a dense forest. To fix a problem plaguing the village near the forest, a priest suggests sacrificing Chinni. However, Chinni’s mother rebels against the villagers and saves her life. As a result of the escape, Chinni, Satya, and their mother go in separate directions.
After the web series returns to the present, Brinda (played by Trisha) is seen having trouble sleeping. As a sub-inspector, Brinda is an honest and intelligent police officer. Upon learning about several murders in the city, she decides to investigate the case. Soon, the serial killer with the same doll as Chinni is revealed. While it is suspected that Satya is on a killing spree, the truth is later revealed in the web series.
As the police reach the crime scene, they find an ATM slip belonging to a businessman named Anand. After interrogating Anand, the police let him go, but Brinda’s doubt grows, and she begins to follow him. The web series takes a drastic turn when the serial killer Thakur is killed. However, while taking his last breath, he reveals that someone is above him who has been commanding a group of people to kill those who believe in religion.
Does Brinda kill Satya?
In another flashback, it is revealed that Thakur met Satya in juvenile jail. While the former did not believe in god, Satya was serving his sentence for murdering several people who killed his mother. As he returned to the village after his mother sent off Chinni, the villagers murdered another innocent girl. They also punished Satya’s mother by killing her. When Satya sees the corpse of his mother and a little girl, he vows to seek revenge from every religious person.
During the case investigation, Brinda also had to deal with several personal problems. What shakes her to the core is when she learns about her past. While she knew Raghu, her adoptive father, was a police officer, she did not realize that he also took care of Satya and his growth. However, when Raghu was killed before Satya, he vowed to kill every religious person.
Ultimately, Brinda realizes Satya is none other than Anand, who has been behind all the murders. As he plans to kill a crowd performing a ritual in the river, Brinda confronts him. She reveals that she is Chinni and that Satya is her brother. She tries to convince him to drop his plan, but Satya refuses to obey her. As a result, Brinda pulls the trigger on Satya and ends up killing her brother.
