Simone Biles Reveals Her Ultimate Goal After Olympics

Simone Biles already has three gold medals in the Paris Olympics. She will now look to add two more golds to her elite collection when she takes part in the balance beam and the floor finals on Monday.

Should Biles take a podium spot again -- which she likely will -- then she could potentially bring up her total Olympic medal tally to 12 medals in three Summer Games appearances.

At 27, however, there's no denying that Biles is already nearing the twilight of what has been an unbridled gymnastics career. As such, it comes as no surprise that she's already thinking about life after the Olympics.

In an interview with Alex Cooper on the highly popular Call Her Daddy podcast that was done before the Paris Games, Biles spoke openly about her legacy. In particular, the American gymnast revealed what her ultimate post-Olympics goals are.

"To be an advocate for anything that I've been outspoken about -- mental health, foster care, ADHD," she said. "But also just someone that gave it her all, never gave up, but also had fun and enjoyed her career."

It's no secret that Biles has had and continues to go through her own struggles with mental health. In fact, this is the exact same reason why she withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.

Biles also wants to be a voice for those who have gone through the hardships of foster care -- like herself and her sister Adria before they were legally adopted by their parents.

On top of that, it's also important for Biles to soak in every single second of her career while she still can -- especially now that she's on her third Olympic tour.

"I'm kind of at that age where I've been, I don't really have any more regrets because I'm a little bit older," she continued. "I'm more mature. Everything I've done has kind of been on my time, so I don't have regrets."

It won't be long before Biles decides to hang it up. She did hint at the possibility of returning for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, but even if she did, that will likely be her last run.

Either way, just like Biles, the fans must also enjoy the ride while they still can.
