Savi Ending Explained & Spoilers

A new female-centric action thriller titled Savi was recently released in theaters. Following an unimpressive run at the box office, the movie arrived on streaming giant Netflix. On the OTT platform, the film is receiving a lot of love as it is also trending at number one in India. Divya Khossla leads the movie, while it also stars Harshvardhan Rane, Anil Kapoor, Himanshi Choudhry, and others.

Here’s an explanation of Savi’s plot and its ending below.

Divya Khossla’s Savi ending & spoilers

Savi movie begins with the introduction of the Sachdeva family, who lives in Liverpool. Thousands of miles away from their homeland, India, they have created a small, loving home for themselves. However, their humble abode is disrupted when Nakul is arrested due to false accusations.

The movie’s official synopsis reads, “When her husband is arrested for his boss’s murder, a determined Savi plots to break him out of prison.”

Why does Nakul get arrested?

During a usual morning at the Sachdeva household, Liverpool police arrive and take away Nakul Sachdeva. Savi, a housewife, and her son, Adi, are left behind with very little hope to carry on with their lives. The mother-son duo pays several visits to Nakul in the prison with the hope that they will be able to prove him not guilty.

It is soon revealed that Nakul was present at the spot where her boss was stabbed and killed. Nakul insists that he had nothing to do with his boss’ murder, but due to a witness, the case is against him. Despite Savi’s attempts to prove Nakul innocent, he loses the case and is sentenced to life imprisonment. As a result, Savi is left helpless, but she does not lose hope.

She refuses to believe that Nakul will not come out of the prison and soon makes up her mind to help him break out of it. Savi begins to find ways to help Nakul escape the prison. However, she fails to find enough courage to do so. She soon visits Joydeep Paul (played by Anil Kapoor), a criminal who has escaped jail seven times. While Paul leads a secret life, he is impressed by Savi’s dedication.

Things get interesting in the movie at this point as its lead begins to prepare for a prison break.

Does Savi succeed in breaking Nakul out of prison?

On Paul’s advice, Savi goes to a mysterious bar looking for a way to make fake passports for her family. When she finds herself in trouble, Paul arrives on time to save her. On learning about Savi’s plan, he decides to coach her. After a chain of events, Savi becomes bold enough to execute her plan. However, a financial crunch leads her to the dubious streets as she tries to loot others. As a result, a drug dealer is killed in a physical altercation, and Savi has police on her tail.

She leaves her house to rescue Nakul from the hospital, where the officials have brought him for a checkup. On the other hand, Detective Hassan reaches the Sachdeva house and collects details about the prison break plan.

Savi and Nakul successfully escape from the hospital, and Paul brings their son to them. As they try to flee the country, the police reach the airport. Hassan soon finds out that Savi planted the details of the prison break outside her house to distract them. Moreover, they successfully fled the country via a ferry.

A few months later, Detective Hassan learns Nakul is innocent as she finds the button of the murderer at the crime scene. Moreover, it is revealed that the Sachdevas have settled in Bulgaria and even bought their own home.

Therefore, Paul gets his new novel as he pens Savi’s story, and the movie ends on a happy note.
