Artistic gymnastics at the 2024 Olympics comes to a close today, August 5, with a the final few event finals, including women’s balance beam, women’s floor exercise, men’s parallel bars, and men’s high bar.
It’s been an eventful Olympics for the Team USA gymnasts; both the men’s and women’s teams reached the podium in the team finals (bronze and gold, respectively); viral “pommel horse guy” Stephen Nedoroscik won the bronze medal in his event final; Simone Biles became the all-time most decorated American gymnast at the Olympics with her gold medal in the all-around final ; and Sunisa Lee had a comeback for the ages , netting bronze medals in the all-around and uneven bar finals.
Today, three Team USA gymnasts will have a chance to win a couple more medals before the competition officially ends.
Sunisa Lee will compete on the balance beam, Jordan Chiles will be in the floor exercise final, Simone Biles will appear in both finals, and you can watch it all live on E! and Peacock .
