And with that, gymnastics at the 2024 Olympics are complete. A wild ending on beam and floor finals concludes the historic competition from Paris.

Simone Biles will go home with just one medal, a silver on floor. A couple of out-of-bound deductions cost the all-around champion, but a second-place finish also means history for Rebeca Andrade. The Brazilian earns her first gold in Paris, and she officially becomes the most decorated Olympian in Brazil.

Coming up with bronze is That Girl, Jordan Chiles. While the American was originally set to finish fifth on floor, an inquiry was submitted and awarded, and Chiles's score was changed to receive credit for her switch full leap. She finally earned the first individual medal of her Olympic career.

With medals around the necks of Andrade, Biles, and Chiles, history was made with the first all-Black podium in Olympic gymnastics.

On beam, though, no American made podium for the first time since 2000 despite two favorites in the event. Suni Lee and Biles were two of four gymnasts to fall off the event, putting them out of contention.

Unfortunate results for the U.S. also mean records broken for Italy. Alice D'Amato, after a heartbreaking fourth-place finish the all-around, earned her first individual medal, a gold, for her country's first championship in women's gymnastics. Teammate Manila Esposito took home bronze while China's Zhou Yaqin won silver.

Gymnastics at the Olympics weren't going down without a little drama and shock. Paris delivered, giving us nail-biting flips and sticks in what could be the final routines for some of gymnastics's greats.

    See you soon, Los Angeles.

Olympics gymnastics live results, highlights from women's floor and beam finals

9:37 a.m. – Andrade gets her first gold of Paris, Biles completes her third Games with silver and Chiles completes her return with a bronze. What. A. Final.

9:30 a.m. – That girl goes out with a bang! After an inquiry by her coaches, Chiles's score changes from a 13.666 to a 13.766. The American earns her first individual medal with a bronze finish on the floor!

    Redemption tour complete.

9:26 a.m. – What a performance from Maneca-Voinea! The Romanian has the routine of her life, earning a 13.700 to tie with Barbosu for third. However, she loses the tie-break on execution and will not medal.

9:20 a.m. – For the final time in Paris, Simone Biles.

She had two two-foot OOB deductions, and it'll cost her ever so slightly. She scores a 14.133, sitting behind Andrade in second! Two gymnasts remain.

9:15 a.m. – The newly crowned beam champion left it all out on the floor. A single step out on her triple but nothing too major. D'Amato ends her Olympics with a 13.600.

9:12 a.m. – Another Barbosu beauty! She'll also have an OOB deduction, taking a step out on the 2.5 twist to front full. She earns a 13.700 to put her solidly in second place.

9:06 a.m. – In what was otherwise a solid routine, Kishi narrowly steps out of bounds on her first pass Even more so, she falls out of her triple turn. But still a wonderful showing for the Japanese gymnast, who earns a 13.166. It likely won't be enough to medal, but the night is young.

9:01 a.m. – Ou hops out of bounds ever so slightly on her second pass, a 2.5 to pike. She falls out of her ensuing triple turn, though she handles it well. Ou scores a 13.000.

8:58 a.m. – A stunning show from Andrade! She just about sticks every landing, taking on a step on her double pike. The Brazilian gets a much deserves 14.166. It should be enough for podium, but will it be gold?

8:53 a.m. – Esposito starts us off, but it's another rough beginning to event finals. She's short on her double lay and falls to her knees. She does the opposite on the double pike, over rotating and stepping out of bounds. She scores a 12.133 and is all but guaranteed to miss the podium.

    8:46 a.m. – Tonight's lineup:

    • Manila Esposito (Italy)
    • Rebeca Andrade (Brazil)
    • Ou Yushan (China)
    • Rina Kishi (Japan)
    • Ana Barbosu (Romania)
    • Alice D'Amato (Italy)
    • Simone Biles (USA)
    • Sabrina Maneca-Voinea (Romania)
    • Jordan Chiles (USA)

    8:44 a.m. – Last one, best one.

8:26 a.m. – Men's high bar is complete, with four men ending on the podium due to ties. One more event remains until artistic gymnastics is over.

7:28 a.m. – Now, the women will take a break until the floor final as the men go up on horizontal bar for their final event of the Games.

7:25 a.m. – All the emotions for D'Amato! She earns Italy it's first ever gold medal in women's gymnastics. Her teammate, Esposito, takes one home, too, finishing with a bronze medal. Zhou grabs the silver.

7:23 a.m. – A hit performance from Andrade to close us out! She not only stays on the apparatus but executes it well, encountering the smallest of balance checks. But it's still not enough as she earns a 13.933 and finishes fourth.

Despite what seemed like an excellent routine, Andrade's difficulty was down 0.4 from qualifying and wasn't enough to overcome in execution.

    7:20 a.m. – Us too, Kathy.

7:15 a.m. – Biles brings back the beam curse. She's off on her second layout stepout, taking a few steps back before jumping off the beam rather than going for the third layout. She scores a 13.100 and will not medal on the beam. Zhou is now guaranteed to podium.

7:11 a.m. – D'Amato breaks the curse! The Italian puts up a solid routine. She has a few balance checks here and there but no major breaks, and ends with a near-stick on her dismount. She scores a 14.366, guaranteeing D'Amato's first individual medal in her Olympic career.

7:04 a.m. – Falls for Maneca-Voinea. She takes two tumbles, her hips slightly off on the layout full, then another misstep on the aerial. She scores an 11.733.

7:00 a.m. – Gymnast No. 4, major error count No. 4. Esposito continues the curse, breaking ever so slightly on her aerial. It could have been worse, though, as she stays on the beam, continues strong, and sticks the double pike dismount. She records a 14.000.

6:55 a.m. – Another fall! Soares takes a tumble, too, grabbing the beam before officially falling on the tour jet. The beam curse continues. The Brazilian earns a 12.333.

6:50 a.m. – Not the showing Lee wanted. She's off from the get-go on her acro series, coming down on the second layout stepout, her back foot just ever so slightly slipping to the side and off. The 2021 bronze medalist will not podium again on beam as she earns a 13.100.

Still, it's all smiles for the American as her Olympic career potentially closes out.

6:46 a.m. – An unusual, and massively unfortunate, error for Zhou as she's off balance on her straight jump full and reaches down to touch the beam. It's going to come down to the wire for the reigning World silver medalist on beam. She records a 14.100, which could still be enough for the Chinese specialist.

6:38 a.m. – Here's the order of athletes on beam.

    • Zhou Yaqin (China)
    • Suni Lee (USA)
    • Julia Soares (Brazil)
    • Manila Esposito (Italy)
    • Sabrina Maneca-Voinea (Romania)
    • Alice D'Amato (Italy)
    • Simone Biles (USA)
    • Rebeca Andrade (Brazil)

6:36 a.m. – The final leo check for Suni of Paris. Who's cutting onions here?
