Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Image Offers First Look at Fan Favorite Character

A first glimpse has been given of the creation of a fan-favorite animatronic for the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie.

On the FNAF -ScottGames official social media account, there have been a couple of behind-the-scenes teases for the sequel to the hit movie adaptation of the horror game series. The mould for a particular animatronic head quickly got fans excited, as they claimed to recognize who it was already.

FNAF fans were quick to claim the image shows we’ll be getting Toy Chica in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. A character I do not recommend searching up images for without a safe search filter on.

But if you want to know more about Toy Chica, then here you go. Toy Chica appropriately first appeared in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 video game as a redesigned version of the original cupcake-carrying animatronic Chica. This more feminine version of the character is given an even creepier look when she loses her beak and eyes.

Production on Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 began last month in New Orleans with a view to releasing the movie in Fall 2025.

It will be a highly-anticipated horror movie for FNAF fans after the staggering success of the first movie last year. The first film was released in theaters and aired on streaming on the same day, but it still became the best-performing horror movie at the box office in 2023.

Not only that, Five Nights at Freddy’s became Blumhouse ‘s biggest movie ever, surpassing M. Night Shyamalan’s Split. It is second only to A Quiet Place Part 2 in the post-COVID market for horror box office.

Five Nights at Freddy’s stars Josh Hutcherson , Elizabeth Lail, Matthew Lillard , Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, Lucas Grant, and Jessica Blackmore. The screenplay comes from director Emma Tammi , Seth Cuddeback, and Scott Cawthon, the latter of whom created the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise. Cawthon and Jason Blum both serve as producers.
