Virginia man finds nose piercing in his Taco Bell food

Newsweek reports that a Suffolk, Virginia, resident named Jeremy was trying to eat a steak cheesy street chalupa from Taco Bell when he felt something painful lodged in his throat.

"The nose ring, now slightly bent from the bite, got pushed to the front of my mouth, and I spit it out. It took a small bit of my filling with it, and [I felt] a small sharp pain from the bite," he said."I was in pure shock when I realized what it was. I looked at my wife, and she looked over and couldn't say anything.

Jeremy was sick for two days

Jeremy coughed up what was in his throat, and to his disgust, it was someone's nose piercing. When Newsweek contacted Taco Bell, they received the following response: We take this very seriously. We are looking into this matter and strive to make things right with the customer."

Mahong Matters reveals that Jeremy shared the picture of the piercing on Reddit. He said that he had been sick for two days and was disappointed when he contacted Taco Bell, and a manager said the piercing could not have come from their kitchen.
