Kate Middleton is reported to have made an unexpected gesture that touched the palace staff when her younger son, Prince Louis, was born.

A member of the palace staff recalled what Middleton did when she brought newly born Prince Louis home,

I remember after Prince Louis was born, she popped into Clarence House, quietly knocked on the door of the staff quarters and introduced them all to the baby. They were really touched by that,”

Both Prince William and Kate are reported to cultivate an informal enviroment in their home despite having multiple members of the staff around them.
