Tom Cruise was spotted displaying an Olympics badge as his helicopter touched down in London ahead of his epic closing ceremony stunt .

The 62-year-old actor was spotted landing in London as he has been rumored to be helping to close out the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. The famous Hollywood star is expected to be performing an epic stunt during the ceremony and will be symbolically passing on the torch to Los Angeles where the 2028 Summer Olympics will be held.

In the snaps, Cruise appeared in high spirits as he was seen wearing a crisp, tight white collared tee paired with black pants as he disembarked the helicopter. Cruise was seen deplaning alongside his son Connor Cruise on his 62nd birthday after filming scenes for the upcoming action-thriller Mission Impossible 8.

Cruises' sighting comes as he has been reported to be performing a death-defying stunt during the closing ceremony at the Olympics. According to TMZ, sources claim that the stunt involves the star rappelling down from the top of the Stade de France while carrying the Olympic flag.

After landing on the stadium field 115 feet down from the top, the live television broadcast is then expected to cut to a prerecorded segment where Cruise will be seen jumping out of an airplane flying from Paris to Los Angeles. Cruise is then set to skydive and land on top of the Hollywood sign. Rumors first sparked when snaps of Tom climbing the sign circulated in March, when the TV segment was first filmed.

After skydiving and climbing the sign, Cruise is said to then pass on the Olympic flag to various Olympians including a cyclist, skateboarder, and volleyball star, as they travel through LA as a symbolic gesture marking turning the games over to the City of Angels. The closing ceremony in Paris will be held this upcoming weekend on Sunday, August 11.
