AZM Expresses Disappointment In Saya Kamitani’s Recent Actions

AZM expressed anger and disappointment towards her former ally Saya Kamitani for her betrayal of their now defunct Queen’s Quest unit.

She recently sat down with Tokyo Sports to comment on Saya’s recent actions. The newly revamped “Phenex Queen” recently costed Maika the World of Stardom title and joined Queen’s Quest’s rival faction H.A.T.E. (formerly Oedo Tai). AZM wondered whether Saya had planned the betrayal for a while now, stating that she may have intentionally lost the high stakes Queen’s Quest vs. Oedo Tai Elimination Match back in June. “Up until now, Queen’s Quest has been the one that has suffered the most from Oedo Tai. If they were connected before the final battle, then maybe Kamitani lost on purpose. And if that was the case, then our departure was already decided. It’s a shame, anyway. I never thought she was that kind of person,” AZM said.

At this past August 4 STARDOM show in Hamamatsu, AZM competed against Saya Kamitani in opposite teams of a 6-Woman Tag for the first time since the recent events. Saya offered a handshake only to viciously attack her former ally afterwards.

Saya’s team of H.A.T.E. ultimately picked up the win over AZM and her NEO GENESIS partners. After the match, Saya spoke with the backstage press saying that she is now the “Phenex Queen” as she bid farewell to her former Queen’s Quest allies.
