    Miss Night & Day episode 16 (finale) aired on Sunday, August 4, 2024, on JTBC and Netflix. Starring Jung Eun-Ji, Lee Jung-Eun, and Choi Jin-Hyuk, the fantasy romance K-drama revolves around a young woman transforming into a 50-year-old during the day. She turns back into her younger self at night.

    In the previous episode, Gong Eun-Sim laid a trap for Lee Mi-Jin (Eun-Ji) and took her hostage. However, the latter fought back and attempted to escape. Gye Ji-Ung (Jin-Hyuk) caught Eun-Sim while searching for Mi-Jin. When he found his girlfriend, he witnessed the magical transformation where she turned into Lim Sun (Jung-Eun). Towards the end, Mi-Jin broke up with Ji-Ung, citing that she didn’t want him to get involved in her day and night versions.

    The Miss Night & Day episode 16 begins with Lim Sun/Mi-Jin revealing her secret to her parents. They initially looks shocked but then break down seeing their daughter’s situation. Meanwhile, Ji-Ung tells Byeong-Deok that Mi-Jin cannot attend the court trial during the day.

    Miss Night & Day ending & spoilers: Did Choi Jin-Hyuk & Jung Eun-Ji end up together?

    Miss Night & Day episode 16 (finale) further shows Lim Sun working towards her health and spending time with her family. Although she is a young woman Mi-Jin, she transforms into a 50-year-old Lim Sun at night. Hence, she fears that her age may affect her health. She wonders, “What if I suddenly get old or sick?” Mi-Jin looks for insurance policies and nursing homes as well.

    Mi-Jin’s parents and her best friend Ga-Yeong also worry about their her. For context, Mi-Jin used to think that she would never transform into Lim Sun after Eun-Sim was caught. But it didn’t happen. Therefore, Mi-Jin thinks that her condition will be permanent. She also misses her time with Ji-Ung.

    On the other side, Ji-Ung also misses her. He waits for her outside her house when her parents see him. Mi-Jin’s father comes outside to greet him as they feel pity for him. Her father tries to come up with excuses so that Ji-Ung doesn’t leave before Mi-Jin arrives. Unfortunately, his efforts go in vain and Ji-Ung bids farewell to them. Mi-Jin knows that he has come to her house and hides behind a pole, waiting for him to leave.

    The next day, Ji-Ung tells Byeong-Deok that he will quit his job. Meanwhile, Mi-Jin seems to have a dream where her 50-year-old version appears and says, “I am leaving.” With some emotional and encouraging lines, Lim Sun bids goodbye to Mi-Jin. Will Mi-Jin now go back to Ji-Ung? Yes, she will. Find out how!

    What happens at the end of Miss Night & Day episode 16 (finale)?

    In Miss Night & Day episode 16, Ji-Ung is packing his things to leave the city. On the other hand, Mi-Jin attends the court hearing of Eun-Sim, revealing that she has returned to her original self for good. At the court, Eun-Sim is sentenced to death.

    Later, Mi-Jin sees Ji-Ung leaving the city but she doesn’t appear in front of him. At night, he stands outside her house and looks heartbroken as he hears everyone enjoying themselves inside. He leaves a parting gift for Mi-Jin and quietly departs. It may seem the characters will get a sad ending, but soon everything begins to fall in the right place.

    Ko Won thrives in his career while Byeong-Deok and Ga-Yeong get engaged. Mi-Jin pursues her dream to become a civil officer. She aims to achieve her goal and get Ji-Ung back. Finally, fate brings them together again. They meet in Seoul at Ji-Ung’s new workplace where Mi-Jin is the new recruit. The final scene shows them sitting on a bench under a tree and Mi-Jin asks if he has someone he likes. He replies, “She is right in front of me,” and the lovebirds share a kiss.

    Overall, Miss Night & Day ends on a happy note. The JTBC drama is available on Netflix.
