A new studio like S-GAME can’t afford to take sides between consoles in 2024. Phantom Blade Zero’s developer S-GAME has denied rumors that they had rejected Xbox. S-GAME was replying to a story that spread over the weekend from ChinaJoy 2024. As reported by Insider Gaming, a Brazilian news outlet allegedly interviewed a staffer from S-GAME. When the staffer was asked if Phantom Blade Zero could come to Xbox, the staffer supposedly replied that “Nobody needs this platform.”

Edigger Studio announced that the Natsume Atari-developed arcade action game Shadow of the Ninja: Reborn has received a special demo for the Xbox One and Xbox Series platforms. The demo was previously available on Steam but has since been removed. However, this is the first console to receive a demo. The publisher has also confirmed that the demo will be released on Nintendo Switch later this week and on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this month. A new trailer was released to celebrate the Xbox demo.

The game is nearly complete, but the studio wants to give it space to shine. Last week, it was rumored that the upcoming first-person action RPG Avowed would be pushed from its 2024 release window to drop sometime in 2025. Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Obsidian Entertainment have confirmed this to be the case, delaying the game from it’s planned fall 2024 release window to February 18, 2025.
