    Walmart may sell a greater variety of American Flags, but if you’re just looking for a decorative flag for Labor Day, you’ll find cheaper prices at Dollar Tree. For example, a pack of three miniature flags is $1.25 at Dollar Tree and a pack of four miniature flags is $2.32 at Walmart. This comes to 42 cents per flag at Dollar Tree and 58 cents at Walmart.

    You can decorate your home and yard with patriotic decor even on a budget . If you’re looking for the lowest prices, Dollar Tree definitely beats Walmart. This 23-inch by 12-inch patriotic bunting is only $1.25 at Dollar Tree, while a similar item is $16.97 at Walmart for a pack of four, or $4.24 each. You can also find flag banners at both retailers. Walmart’s banners are higher in quality than Dollar Tree’s foil banners , but even the lowest price at Walmart is $5.29.     Dollar Tree’s hot dog and hamburger buns from Gold Medal Bakery aren’t much cheaper than Walmart’s Great Value prices, but they’re still a better deal. At Dollar Tree, you’ll only pay $1.25 each for a pack of eight buns, whereas at Walmart, it’ll cost you $1.46.

    Most pools stay open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so this may be your last chance for poolside fun this year. Dollar Tree sells a range of pool essentials, including inflatable swim rings , pool noodles and toys, for $1.25. At Walmart, prices are much higher. The cheapest pool tube is $6.50, and pool noodles are $3.48 each. Walmart also sells a pool noodle chair for $9.98 on sale, but a very similar noodle chair is a fraction of the price ($1.25) at Dollar Tree.
