NBC Removes Viral Video of Katie Ledecky's 'Deranged' Live TV Reaction

Katie Ledecky may have been cool, calm and collected while winning the women's 1,500M freestyle gold by 10 seconds, but the men's 1,500 final on Sunday, August 4 brought out a different side of her.
Team USA's Bobby Finke set a new world record and repeated as the event's gold medal champion. Besides his immediate family, he had perhaps no bigger fan in attendance than Ledecky, who TV cameras captured emphatically cheering on her men's counterpart.
Fans were thoroughly enjoying her passion, too. A viral video captioned "Deranged Katie Ledecky cheering Bobby Finke’s 1500 win, wielding a cowbell like a weapon, is giving me life" was viewed over 4.5 million times in its first 24 hours.
Ledecky kept the fun rolling and also reposted the video.
"😂 What a way to finish things off @USASwimming Proud of all my friends and teammates! 🥹," she wrote.
However, the video has since been removed from X (formerly Twitter) after being reported by its copyright holder, NBC.
Still, Team USA's swimming dominance lives on, as Finke's gold pulled the Americans into a tie with Australia for swimming gold medals in Paris.
Later on Sunday, the U.S. women's 4x100M medley relay team also took gold to put the U.S. ahead for good — eight gold medals to Australia's seven.
