NFL safety Jonathan Owens, husband of Simone Biles, took to social media on Monday to emphasize the immense dedication required by Olympic athletes, specifically praising his wife and Brazil's Rebeca Andrade for their performances in the 2024 Paris Games.

Owens’ post highlighted the extraordinary effort both gymnasts put into their performances, showing just how demanding their sport truly is.

"Unreal!!!! People wouldn’t understand man. Warriors," Owens wrote on X, reiterating his admiration for their resilience and hard work.

Owens' comment came in response to a tweet that spotlighted the sheer mental and physical endurance needed to compete at such a high level.

"Both Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade competing 17 routines in Paris cannot be understated," the indivudal posted. "The mental and physical endurance that requires is almost inhuman. What athletes they both are."

Biles and Andrade have truly mesmerized fans and athletes alike during the 2024 Olympics with their exceptional performances.

Biles now boasts 11 Olympic medals, seven of which are gold.

Even with a silver medal in the women’s floor exercise final on Monday, she still remains the top name in gymnastics.

Andrade, who claimed gold with a score of 14.166, narrowly edged out Biles, who finished with 14.133.

Andrade's victory is particularly impressive given her history of overcoming severe injuries, including three ACL tears since 2015. This gold medal marks her first at the Olympics.

Owens' post underscores the importance of recognizing the hard work behind these incredible performances.

Both athletes are historical figures in their sport. Biles is the most decorated gymnast of all time and Andrade is the most decorated Brazilian Olympian in history, surpassing sailors Torben Grael and Robert Scheidt with her most recent medal.

Their performances in Paris have once again demonstrated their extraordinary dedication and talent, leaving an incredible mark on Olympic history.
