Prince William is reportedly seething with anger at Prince Harry for discussing their late mother , Princess Diana, in a recent interview, a source has disclosed.

Harry spoke candidly about Princess Diana during a recent interview. Now, it's been claimed by a source that William is absolutely livid, or "spitting mad" , over Harry's remarks and has accused him of exploiting Diana's death for personal gain.

A source speaking to New Idea Magazine alleged: "Harry just won't move on and it appears that since marrying Meghan , the obsession with his mother has only intensified. William's getting to the point where he's washing his hands of Harry for good ."

Furthermore, the source added that William feels he no longer "recognizes" his brother and noted a deterioration in their relationship. They hinted that while William was once open to mending fences with Harry, he now harbors deep distrust towards him, reports the Mirror US .

Back in 2017, Princes William and Harry made a pact not to publicly discuss their mother's passing after a documentary. The Prince of Wales told ITV: "We won't be doing this again we won't speak as openly or publicly about her again, because we feel hopefully this film will provide the other side from close family friends you might not have heard before, from those who knew her best and from those who want to protect her memory, and want to remind people of the person that she was."

However, Harry broke this vow in his revealing book 'Spare'. He shared a poignant memory of the last conversation he had with Princess Diana before her tragic accident.

In 'Spare', Harry writes about his deep regrets regarding their final call: "I wished I'd dug deep, told my mother all the things weighing on my heart, especially my regret over the last time we'd spoken on the phone. She'd called early in the evening, the night of the crash, but I was running around with Willy and my cousins and didn't want to stop playing."

He continued with remorse: "So I'd been short with her. Impatient to get back to my games, I'd rushed Mummy off the phone. I wished I'd apologized for it. I wished I'd searched for the words to describe how much I loved her."
