We reach for jumpsuits constantly, especially when we're in a rush and need a complete ensemble in minutes. That's why we're always on the hunt for different styles to diversify our jumpsuit wardrobes, and we found one at Target that's blown us away.
This cargo-inspired jumpsuit from Universal Thread has such a trendy vibe that's upscale, chic, yet casual all at the same time. We definitely fell in love with it at first sight, especially now that it's on sale at 20% off.
Universal Thread Maxi Cargo Jumpsuit, $28 (was $35) at Target
Cargo pants have made a comeback over the past few years, and you can embrace the trend in a modern way with this jumpsuit. It features a V-neckline that has a zipper closure detail on the front, with an elastic high waistband that cinches in your waist. The cargo touches are on the pant legs, which have two side snap pockets, two slip pockets, and back pockets that feel very utilitarian — and very cool.
This jumpsuit is available in black and olive green, both of which are gorgeous. Some shoppers say they've picked up both because it's just that "flattering" and "comfortable." It's also incredibly versatile too. You can style it casually or dress it up for fancier events by switching up your shoes and accessories. With the right jacket, the jumpsuit can also totally work as a fall office look as well.
One reviewer calls this "the cutest, most flattering jumpsuit," and another adds that it's "stylish, comfortable, and compliments your curves." Because of its "trendy" details, this jumpsuit could easily pass for styles we've seen at retailers like Revolve, especially this version from Pistola .
The two styles have very similar details, including most notably the extra side snap pockets on the pant legs, as well as the zip-front design. When we compare the two side by side there are some differences, but the biggest difference is the price. At a fraction of the cost of the high-end style, the Target jumpsuit is definitely our top contender.
