Team USA gymnast Simone Biles has won three gold medals so far during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris while capturing the hearts and minds of fans across the world.

Biles' cool, calm and composed demeanor belies the challenges she has faced with nervousness throughout the Olympics.

Prior to her gold medal win in the vault this past weekend, Biles revealed the one Olympic event that causes her the most anxiety.

"I think (the vault) is the event I'm most nervous for," Biles said prior to her historic, gold medal winning performance in a TikTok video.

Biles was referring to the Yurchenko double pike, an event that has been nicknamed after her because of her immense success in it.

Biles said that she was afraid of "overpowering" the vault, a concern that was quickly allayed after her stunning victory.

The Team USA starlet finished behind Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade in the floor exercise on Monday, earning a silver medal as fellow Team USA member Jordan Chiles earned a bronze medal alongside her on the day.
