Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade secured her first gold medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics on Monday after performing an exquisite route in the Women's Floor Artistic gymnastics event.
As Andrade stepped up to the podium to receive her gold medal, Simone Biles, the silver medal winner, and Jordan Chiles, the bronze medal winner, both from the United States, bowed down to the Brazilian superstar.
Both Americans showed high praise for Andrade, and the photo of their support ultimately went viral on social media.
The photo with Biles, Andrade, and Chiles has over 2 million viewers on ESPN alone and millions more on other platforms.
Andrade finished her floor routine with a score of 14.166, while Biles scored 14.133, and Chiles earned a 13.766.
Brazil's young star had a phenomenal 8.266 execution score and a 5.900 difficulty score.
Despite Biles having the highest difficulty score, 6.900, she stepped out of bounds, resulting in a 0.6 deduction penalty.

Andrade walks away from the Paris Games with a gold medal in the Women's Floor Artistic gymnastics, a silver medal in the Women's Artistic Individual All-Around, another silver medal in the Women's Vault Artistic gymnastics, and a bronze medal in the Women's Artistic Team All-Around.
She had a wonderful outing at the Paris Games, but no one was able to top Biles' historic run.
Simone Biles capped off her third Olympic Games with three gold medals, which came in the Women's Artistic Individual All-Around, Women's Artistic Team All-Around, and Women's Vault Artistic gymnastics events.
Biles also earned a silver medal in the Women's Floor Artistic gymnastics.
Chiles, on the other hand, earned a gold medal in the Women's Artistic Team All-Around with the United States and an individual bronze in the Women's Floor Artistic gymnastics.
