Popular South Korean singer and actress Kim Se-Jeong is all set to play the female lead in the upcoming K-drama Drunken Romance. The romantic comedy series will debut this year on ENA. The network has revealed the main cast members, including the Business Proposal actress Kim Se-Jeong, on its official Instagram channel.
Apart from disclosing the prime cast members of Drunken Romance, ENA has further revealed the exact release window of the highly anticipated K-drama. However, the network has not disclosed the actual air date of the Korean series yet.
Kim Se-Jeong to lead new K-drama Drunken Romance
As mentioned earlier, the beloved Business Proposal actress Kim Se-Jeong will lead the upcoming ENA rom-com K-drama series Drunken Romance. She will play the role of Chae Yong-Ju, an ex-member of the military’s special force. She is currently working at a liquor company as a salesperson. Chae Yong-Ju has a strong and charming personality, great professional skills, and a passion for the company and its products.
In the upcoming series, when she finds out that the company’s branch where she works is about to be shut down, she goes on a quest to save the branch from closing. While on the mission, she will come across Yun Min Ju, the CEO of a brewery company and the brewmaster. He lives in the countryside and has a calming and relaxing lifestyle.
The story of the drama will unfold when the two characters will meet. Thus, fans are excited to see Kim Se-Jeong in this new and intriguing role.
Kim Se-Jeong’s Drunken Romance K-drama: Release date window & cast
Drunken Romance, starring Kim Se-Jeong as the female lead Chae Yong-Ju, will premiere on ENA in November 2024.
ENA has also revealed that actor Lee Jong-Won will portray the male lead, Yun Min Ju, opposite the actress in the series. Apart from them, the main cast list of the K-drama also includes Baek Sung-Chul as Oh Chan-Hwi and Shin Do-Hyun as Bang A-Reum, among others.
