MBC show ISAC (Idol Star Athletics Championships) 2024 has shared a release date window and the complete lineup of the attendees. The lineup features a star-studded list of K-pop stars, including The Boyz, NCT Wish, UNIS, and more groups.
After starting in 2010, the Idol Star Athletics Championships became gradually famous among K-pop fans. It gained popularity as an annual event that allowed K-pop stars to show their athletic talent. BTS Jungkook, SHINee Minho, (G)I-DLE Shuhua, and several other stars have created iconic moments for the event that are still discussed in K-pop communities.
ISAC K-pop 2024: Does it have a release date?
ISAC 2024 has started shooting for its September broadcast. MBC has confirmed the event release date window. It will occur between September 16 and 18, during the Chuseok holiday. South Korea’s MBC network will broadcast the show.
The 2024 edition of ISAC is special to fans as it returns after a two-year hiatus. Earlier, ISAC happened twice a year, once during the Lunar New Year and a second time during the Chuseok holiday. The last ISAC took place in the 2022 Chuseok holiday.

Fans who have attended the recordings of the show shared a glimpse of some significant wins from ISAC 2024. As per updates, HYBE’s new girl group, ILLIT, snagged two medals, including a Silver and one Bronze at ISAC Chuseok 2024.
In the newly introduced Breakdance category, BADVILLAIN’s EMMA, Chloe Young, and INA ranked first place with an impeccable score of 9.7. In other news, Zerobaseone star Kim Ziwoong scored a gold medal in Archery in his first-ever ISAC participation.
