Simone Biles' Nickname For Rebeca Andrade Makes Headlines After Floor Final

Simone Biles notched her fourth medal of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games on Monday, finishing second behind Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade in the Floor final.
Biles is still the best in the world, but Andrade has been the greatest competition for the 27-year-old American over the last few years. Biles has consistently voiced her respect and admiration for Andrade, and she continued that trend after the final gymnastics event of this year's Olympics.
Biles and her United States teammate Jordan Chiles bowed to Andrade from either side of the podium, creating one of the most memorable moments of the Paris Games so far.
Biles heaped Andrade with praise during her post-meet media availability. In the process, she referred to her No. 1 rival as the "queen."
"She's so amazing. She's queen," Biles said. "... Jordan [Chiles] was like 'Should we bow to her?' And I was like 'Absolutely!' ... That's why we did it.
"She's such an excitement to watch. All the fans in the crowd are always cheering for her. It was just the right thing to do."
Like Biles, Andrade finished her 2024 Olympic campaign with four medals. In addition to her gold in Floor, she notched bronze in the team final and silver in All-Around and Vault.
