Outdoor sports equipment producer SHIMANO has announced a 10-year, $10 million commitment in support of access to mountain bike trails around the world. With an initial focus on select areas in North America, Europe, and Oceania, the Trail Born Fund will support and facilitate trail-building projects and trail-advocacy organizations, with funding to be earmarked for legal and sustainable trails. In addition, the company will promote chosen projects and assist in raising funds from other sources.
