Pregnant Cardi B Reveals One Bump-Hiding Fashion She Is ‘So Happy’ to Ditch Now That the Secret’s Out

Cardi B is done hiding her baby bump — and she couldn’t be more excited about it. The “Enough (Miami)” rapper shared one fashion piece she’s ditching now that she doesn’t have to hide her pregnancy, and it makes so much sense!

You know all those preppy, schoolgirl skirts Cardi’s been wearing lately? Yep, those have all been strategic. “I’m so happy y’all know I’m🤰🏻,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday. “now I can stop wearing those deum school girl skirts lmaoooooo 😂😂”

Cardi, who is currently pregnant with her third child with estranged husband Offset, has been wearing pleated miniskirts with a high waist to hide her stomach and draw attention to her other curvy ass ets. She wore a khaki schoolgirl skirt paired with a cropped blue shirt and tan boots on Mother’s Day, sharing pictures of holding her 6-year-old daughter Kulture’s hand and squeezing her 2-year-old son Wave’s cheeks. She also wore a navy blue and white skirt while promoting her song “Wanna Be (Remix)” with GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion, and a blue pinstriped skirt that showed her butt to promote her song “On Dat Money” with Rob49.

She definitely looked sexy in these tiny skirts, but with their tight waists, we can definitely understand why she’s happy to leave this look behind (at least until her baby is here).

Miniskirts aren’t the only maternity fashion Cardi B has been sporting. The “WAP” rapper has bee spotted carrying an oversized purse around, which does a fabulous job of covering the bump. And when she decided to announce her baby news, she stopped hiding and opted for a glamorous red gown with plunging neckline that showed off her bare belly.

“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!” she wrote in her announcement just one day after filing for divorce from Offset. “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”

Cardi B, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
