Chris Hemsworth is known for being a hands-on dad, often bringing his family to movie premieres—his three kids even had cameos in his blockbuster Marvel film, Thor: Love and Thunder . But the 40-year-old actor might have pushed his parenting skills to the limit recently, as his latest social media post proves...or at least his hairdressing skills.
In a video and photo shared to Instagram on Aug. 4, Hemsworth revealed what happened when he decided to cut his twin sons' hair himself—and it appears the star could use a little more practice with the clippers.
"Hairdressing has always been my one true passion and as you can see the results speak for themselves 😂😂," Hemsworth wrote in his caption.
Fans were horrified and highly amused by the choppy styles Sasha and Tristan , 10, sported.
"Oh dad don’t give up your day job 🤣😂🤣," wrote one commenter.
"So they all had gum in their hair? 😂" asked another.

In addition to Sasha and Tristan, Hemsworth shares a daughter, India Rose , 12, with his wife, Elsa Pataky . (Apparently, India knew better than to let her dad near her hair.)
Earlier this year, Hemsworth opened up about being "pissed" off when the media misconstrued comments he made about his risk of Alzheimer's in 2022 .
"It really kind of pissed me off because it felt like I had been vulnerable with something personal and shared this," Hemsworth told Vanity Fair . "No matter how much I said, ‘This is not a death sentence,’ the story became that I have dementia and I’m reconsidering life and retiring and so on."
Hemsworth discovered he has a genetic predisposition for Alzheimer's when he got testing done for the Disney+ show Limitless , but the revelation was not a diagnosis.
