The two got married on October 10, 2023 after a year of being together. Billy Ray filed for divorce three months ago after less than a year of marriage citing "irreconcilable differences." The divorce process made headlines after they each accused one another of verbal and emotional abuse. At one point, Billy Ray claimed that he became suspicious that she was lying about her maiden name when they were applying for their marriage license. He claimed to have spotted that her father's name did not match hers.

According to a news outlet, the divorce battle has concluded and they are officially divorced.

How much did Firerose walk away with after divorce finalized?

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail , Firerose walked away with $0 from her divorce to the country singer. One thing she did walk out with though were royalties of the songs the two wrote or published together before their marriage.

A source said: "She settled for nothing just to be done with him and get away from the situation."

Is this Billy Ray's first divorce?

No, in fact, the country star was married to Tish Cyrus from December 28, 1993 to April 2022. The pair's marriage allegedly started to suffer between 2010 and 2013 before they finalized it in 2022. The two share six kids together: Brandi, 37, Trace, 35, which Billy adopted from Tish's previous marriage, Miley, 31, Braison, 30, and Noah, 24. Billy Ray also shares son Christopher Cody, 32, with Kristen Luckey, whom he dated before meeting Tish.

The two announced their divorce in a joint statement that read: "It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts," they said. "We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths. We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents."
