It seems that Scheana Shay has a lot of history meeting celebrities. The Vanderpump Rules star certainly put herself out there and took advantage of connections made while on the hit reality TV show. In one case, she met Full House star Candace Cameron Bure .
No celebrity contact is too irrelevant to speak of on Scheana’s podcast. And most recently, she recalled the underwhelming experience of meeting the star who played D.J. Tanner.
Scheana didn’t watch Fuller House because of the experience
The Good As Gold singer labeled Candace as “dismissive” on a recent episode of her Scheananigans podcast. She met the Full House star on VPR’s “really early days” through Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter, Pandora Vanderpump Sabo.
“The first time I met Candace Cameron, she wasn’t very nice,” the Bravolebrity revealed. “She was hosting this event with Pandora. It was maybe Season 2.”
Scheana gushed that she was “so excited to meet” the child star after “growing up watching Full House.” But she felt that Candace “was so dismissive … like [Shay] wasn’t cool enough or big enough to be hanging out with” her.
The experience was so negative that Scheana “didn’t want to watch Fuller House because of that.”
“I’ve met so many celebrities and actors in my life and hardly any have stood out to me,” she added.
Though, on further recollection, the VPR star admitted that Amanda Bynes had been “rude” to her at the Teen Choice Awards. However, Scheana gave her “all the grace in the world.”
“[Even] Kim freaking Kardashian is so nice and humble. So many huge, A-list celebrities are so nice,” Scheana added.
Candace’s name came up in current events as she had objections to the Olympic opening ceremony performance. Protestors were offended by Drag Queens during the Olympic opening ceremony. Scheana discussed the controversy before recalling her meeting with the star.
