Spotted: Blake Lively’s new brand on the shelves of Target.
The “Gossip Girl” star became the latest celebrity to enter the beauty space on Monday, with Blake Brown haircare line dropping exclusively at the budget-friendly retailer.
The just-launched products were seven years in the making, inspired by the haircare hacks she’s learned on set over the years (hint: you won’t see conditioner in her shower).
“I don’t know anyone who uses conditioner in my industry,” she told Vogue . “It’s not that people in the entertainment industry are gifted with better hair, we’re using a different hair system than the process promoted to the mass market.”
“People think of hair masks as more of a specialty product or a one-off treatment, but I use it every single time like I use conditioner,” she told the magazine.
The star teased the launch on Instagram last week, writing, “I wanted something that was more affordable but had the same salon/red carpet performance… turns out highest quality is most expensive, who knew??”
The star shared photos of the line on Instagram last week. Blake Brown
