LeBron James Sends Powerful Message Of Support To Sunisa Lee

NBA legend and fellow U.S. Olympian LeBron James expressed some strong support for women’s gymnast Sunisa Lee after her impressive showings at the Paris Olympics.

In response to the Olympic Games tweet saying “Sunisa LeeBron,” James didn't mix words on his support for Lee.

“Ayeeeeeeee [Sunisa Lee]. YOU’RE AWESOME!!! Congrats on everything!” James said via Instagram.

Lee currently has one gold medal and two bronze medals in Paris at just 21 years of age. She has one of the most unique and triumphant stories thus far of any competitor. She has overcome two kidney disease diagnoses to still compete in Paris and not just compete, medal.

James' journey to Gold is not yet finished, as they take on Brazil Tuesday in the quarter-finals in a win or go home scenario. The United States have yet to lose a game in any exhibition or group play games yet and now will need to keep that streak alive if they want to win a gold medal in Paris.
