In terms of outside the Octagon, Dana White is far from a Jon Jones fan. Inside of it, though, White believes no one is better than “Bones.”

Jones is set to collide with Stipe Miocic later this year in his first heavyweight title defense. The former light heavyweight champion has been recovering from an injury.

While some have been quick to push interim champion Tom Aspinall to the top of the division, White is not going to do that. In fact, he continues to double-down on the status of Jones being the greatest of all-time.

“Everything I’m saying, these are (expletive facts),” White told Kevin Iole (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes). “It’s not like me and Jon have this unbelievable relationship like I have with Ronda (Rousey) and Chuck Liddell and Conor (McGregor). This is not the case.

“What I am saying about Jon Jones is undebatable.”

White added that is he does fight again and beats Aspinall, “he cements his legacy.”

“This isn’t about personally who Jon Jones is and do you like him,” White said. “We’re talking about the baddest dude to ever walk the face of the Earth in combat sports already.”

Jones sits atop the records in several categories including light heavyweight title defenses and most UFC title fights. His 15 wins in titled rights is also the most along with his 1,501-day reign as champion.

But there is even more to it. Jones has the second-most submissions in titled rights, is the youngest to win a UFC title and has the longest unbeaten streak. In fact, his lone official loss came via disqualification.

He owns wins over the likes of Daniel Cormier, Alexander Gustafsson, Glover Teixeira, Vitor Belfort, Rashad Evans, Chael Sonnen, Lyoto Machida and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. In 2011, Jones won his first UFC title with a third round finish of Shogun Rua.
