Jennifer Lopez is having a hard time facing the music when it comes to where she and her husband Ben Affleck stand in their marriage.
The triple-threat entertainer , 55, and the Daredevil star , 52, have been rumored to be having marital problems for months. As the pair is reportedly on the brink of breaking up, J.Lo is claimed to be struggling to come to terms with that she’s going to have another failed marriage.
“[Jennifer’s] furious,” a source told Page Six. “[Ben] has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated getting back together.”

Ben and Jennifer restarted their romance in 2021 after she called it quits with her ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez earlier that year, giving their love another go. They were together before, dating from 2002 to 2004 after co-starring in the 2003 movie Gigli. Part of why the music sensation is so embarrassed that she and Ben are soon splitting is because of how much she paraded their relationship during their marriage.
In July 2022, they eloped in Las Vegas, having a second wedding celebration at Ben’s house in Riceboro, Georgia, in August.
“[Ben’s] humiliated her because she made a big deal that he’s the love of her life,” the insider explained to the news outlet. “They just had two weddings two years ago. This is some kind of a record, they’re not young kids.”
Two of the Monster-in-Law star’s poorly received projects , This Is Me…Now, and its sister project, the Amazon Prime doc The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which co-starred Ben, were both inspired by their romance.
Another reason why the couple’s impending divorce is troubling for Jennifer is because of their blended family.
“There are five kids involved in this,” the source revealed. “She knew they were going to blend families. She has not fully accepted it is over.”
Jennifer shares twins Max and Emme, 16, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Ben shares, Violet, 18, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez is reportedly very close to Ben’s oldest daughter.
Although Ben bought a $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades, California, after the two put their marital home on the market for $68 million, seemingly signifying he’s moving on, he’s not filing for divorce just yet. Ben isn’t filing right away because he doesn’t want to humiliate her more than he already has since he’s “very protective of her,” another source told Page Six.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are said to have stopped speaking to each other following reports they are divorcing. Although their supposedly divorcing, insiders revealed to Page Six that they have “not hired divorce lawyers, and instead are having their business managers hash out the details.”
