Sterling Knight is looking quite different from his Disney days.

A TikTok user made a video showcasing what the actor looks like currently. The Tiktok was captioned, " sterling knight was my childhood crush ugh." The person called his transformation "f---ing crazy" and others in the comments couldn't believe it either. The actor now processes shoulder length dark blonde hair, a full beard and a fuller face.

Some may have been "baffled" by how different he looked and not like the notable Disney characters he played such as Chad Dylan Cooper and Christopher Wilde but others were digging the new look. One user commented: "He grew up. I like the teddy bear look" A second fan agreed saying: "he went from looking like a nature valley granola bar to a teddy bear, tbh I like it!"

The 35-year-old actor was well known in the 2010s where he had a lead role in the Disney Channel original movie Starstruck where he played pop star Christopher Wilde. While he wasn't really a singer, he did sing the title track for the film. It was the only song he sang for the soundtrack, as former Varsity Fanclub member Drew Ryan Scott did the rest. The South Carolina native stated the reason for that was because he joined the film late.

He had a recurring role as Chad Dylan Cooper in the sitcom that centered around Demi Lovato's character Sonny Monroe. The show lasted for two seasons before he reprised the role in the spinoff series without Demi, So Random!. So Random! only lasted for one season before it was cancelled. Before his Disney fame, Sterling starred in 17 Again with Zac Efron and the late Matthew Perry.

After Disney he went on to be in the ABC Family comedy Melissa & Joey for 31 episodes, a 2016 TV show called Crowded. His last credit role was in the 2022 film It Snows All the Time where he played a character named Art.

To many fans, it seems like he has retired from acting which he has not many announcements about. Although it's been two years since he last project, he was active on Cameo. Cameo is an app where people can request personalized messages from celebrities. As of the writing of this story, the app stated he is not available and one can follow to receive updates for when he's back.

He joined Cameo in September 2018 and the last video he made was in December 2023. On the about section of his page, he wrote, "Actor/Texan I'm into fitness, food, and fast cars," with one rock on emoji and a bicep emoji at the end. The last post he made on his official Instagram was on September 2023 which was a photo of him and his "Osaka family" in Japan.

Not much is known about his personal life but dated actress Ayla Kell in November 2014. The two met on the set of Melissa & Joey and by October 2018, they announced their engagement. Their relationship ended in 2019.
