    Introduction

A new Dollar Tree store is coming to a major Southern California shopping center.

For perspective, according to ScrapeHero.com: There are 8,354 Dollar Tree stores in the United States as of July 24, 2024. The state and territory with the most number of Dollar Tree locations in the US is Texas, with 734 stores, which is about 9% of all Dollar Tree stores in the US.

    Let us explore further.

    Dollar Tree, 2024

According to an August 5th brief from ShoppingCenterBusiness.com, the new Dollar Tree store is scheduled to open in a prime Escondido shopping center. The deal was arranged by Axiom Retail Advisors.

As excerpted from the brief: The tenants, Dollar Tree and Big Blue Swim School, will occupy a former Big Lots property at the center, which is anchored by The Home Depot. Red Mountain Retail Group acquired the building as part of a Big Lots portfolio acquisition last year and plans to demolish the existing structure to accommodate the new tenants.

No target date of opening of the new Dollar Tree store has yet been announced by the company. The address of the former Big Lots! is 1580 W. Valley Parkway, in Escondido's Home Depot Shopping Center.

    Conclusion

This is a developing story. In the event of pertinent updates to this matter, inclusive of further Dollar Tree company openings and milestones or target dates thereof, I will share them here on NewsBreak.
