Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh responded to the Michigan allegations during his press conference on Monday and denied any wrongdoing .

The 60-year-old, who is entering his first season with the Chargers after winning the national championship with the Wolverines last year, has been met with allegations that he and fellow staff members violated NCAA rules. Connor Stalions, a former analyst at Michigan, resigned during the championship-winning season amid the scrutiny.

Stalions has been accused of scouting rival teams in Michigan's Big Ten Conference and potential opponents they may have faced during the College Football Playoffs. It has been claimed that Stalions bought tickets to watch future opposition and recorded in-game signals to offer the Wolverines an unfair edge.

Harbaugh addressed the claims in his Chargers press conference after ESPN obtained a draft of the NCAA's notice of allegations. The Chargers head coach concluded his conference after denying the claims held against him, leaving the podium after just five minutes.

The 60-year-old usually speaks to the media for approximately 20 minutes but drastically cut short his availability after addressing the Michigan scandal. "Never lie. Never cheat. Never steal. I was raised with that lesson," he said on Monday.

"I have raised my family on that lesson. I have preached that lesson to the teams that I have coached. No one is perfect. If you stumble, you apologize and you make it right. Today, I do not apologize. I did not participate, was not aware nor complicit in those said allegations. So, it's back to work and attacking with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind."

Harbaugh is accused of committing the worst NCAA violation, a Level 1, and could find it tough returning to college sports in the future. The new Chargers coach brought defensive coordinator Jesse Minter and defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale- with him to Los Angeles from Michigan, but they have also been met with accusations.

Both coaches have been accused of violating recruiting codes, with Partridge and Minter allegedly sending text messages to a high school sophomore recruit. The troubles are not over in Michigan either, as new head coach Sherrone Moore is under the spotlight.

Moore was promoted to head coach from offensive coordinator and faces allegations of deleting messages sent to Stalions once he was accused of unfairly scouting opposition teams. In the draft obtained by ESPN, a thread of 52 text messages was deleted but later recovered and handed to enforcement staff.

Pending the investigation, Moore could face a suspension for his involvement and may see his first season as head coach of the Wolverines impacted. The allegations were already concerning when considering the integrity of college football but sparked further outrage after Michigan went on to win the national championship game.
