Olympic track and field schedule today: Events happening on Aug. 6 at Paris Games

The athletics competitions are in full effect in Day 11 as the prestigious 2024 Paris Olympic Games enter the second week of competition.

The August 6 track and field events will encompass both men's and women's competitions, featuring the fiercely competitive javelin throw, 400-meter hurdles, and 200-meter qualifications, among others. The finals will decide the champions for the women's 400-meter hurdles and 200 meters. These events are the highly anticipated must-watch competitions of the Summer Games and will showcase the worlds fastest athletes.
