The end is near for fans of Yellowstone . As production on the final episodes of Season 5, Part 2 winds down, the cast is beginning the heart-wrenching task of saying goodbye.

Wendy Moniz , who played Gov. Lynette Perry in the series, wrote on Instagram , "Series wrap for me on Yellowstone🎬 and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few."

The one-time love interest for Kevin Costner 's John Dutton called her time on the Taylor Sheridan series a "beautiful experience" adding that she's "just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017."

In her musings, Moniz also noted that she wrote a similar post on the same day two years ago! "I completed my last scene August 1st, then recalled having previously shared a gratitude post…looking back, it was on the SAME DATE two years ago 🤯"

Moniz may be saying goodbye but other cast members are still in the thick of filming. Newlyweds Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison , who play Walker and Laramie, respectively, are "back in the saddle," according to an on-set Instagram post from Harrison.

Meanwhile, series star Kelly Reilly , who will likely segue to the spinoff series, The Madison (previously titled 2024 ), wrote a gratitude-filled post last month that cut almost as deep as something her character Beth would have said—except with kindness instead of vitriole.

"A few days ago gratitude spilled out of me every direction," she wrote of perhaps one of her final days on the Yellowstone set. (They're all numbered at this point.) "The kindness of people . An Eagle circling above just before action was called . A huge pack of Elk with their babies crossing ahead on the way home .The horses feeling the breeze as we walked down the hill. My dog that morning at the lake. My husband making me dinner when I came home bone tired .The group of people that continue to make this wild show make it with all their hearts and guts , I’m so deeply proud to be running alongside them. The rawness and beauty of this years season is really something. Can’t wait to share it."

The Madison is the spinoff series said to star Matthew McConaghey with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell rumored to be joining the cast. Production on the new series will likely begin after the final episodes of Yellowstone wrap. The Madison will likely premiere in 2025.

The final episodes of Yellowstone will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 10 on Paramount Network.
