What is Andhagan’s release date?

The makers of Andhagan recently announced that the film will hit theatres earlier than scheduled. Initially set for an August 15 release, it will now premiere on August 9, 2024. This much-anticipated murder mystery has been in the making, and its release will surely draw crowds.

Andhagan closely follows the storyline of Andhadhun. Prashanth plays a blind pianist with dreams of going to London. His life takes a dramatic turn when he becomes a witness to a crime. The film explores how he navigates this precarious situation. Furthermore, the trailer introduces his romantic interest, played by Priya Anand. It also teases the tension between Prashanth’s character and the manipulative woman, which is played by Simran. Additionally, it features glimpses of a police investigation led by Samuthirakani.

Apart from Prashanth, Anand, Simran, and Samuthirakani, the film features a stellar cast. It includes Karthik Muthuraman, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar, Vanitha Vijaykumar, and Leela Samson.
