Eve Hewson has revealed how she deals with nepo baby comments , explaining that she has no choice but to find the humor in it. 33-year-old Hewson is the daughter of U2 frontman Bono , whose real name is Paul Hewson.
She has achieved great success in acting over the last few years, starring in hit projects such as Bad Sisters with Sharon Horgan . Hewson has also received praise for her performances in the likes of Flora and Son , Behind Her Eyes, and Robin Hood.
Despite her success, Hewson still faces the regular nepo baby claims because of who her famous father is. She opened up about how she deals with it in an interview with Porter Magazine .
"The only thing you can do is crack a joke and move on," she said of the topic. Hewson grew up with three siblings, most of which are also in creative industries.
In the same interview, the star revealed that acting was the only thing she felt she was "good at". However, she did originally want to go into music and joked that she thought she would be an artist like Charli XCX.

Hewson's younger brother Elijah is the lead singer of the Irish indie rock band Inhaler who has achieved great success in the music industry over the past few years, playing sold-out shows in their native Ireland and appearing on festival lineups around the world.
Eve Hewson studied acting at New York University and her first major role came in 2011 when she starred in This Must Be The Place. She has joked a number of times before about the nepo baby issue.
In a post to Twitter in 2022, Hewson jokingly responded to a New York Times Magazine story listing nepo babies, poking fun at her exclusion from the list. "Actually pretty devastated I'm not featured in the nepo baby article like haven't they seen my hit show Bad Sisters??? The NERVE," she wrote.
