However, the Mulholland Drive director opined that there was potential in the movie. He said, “I like this story. It’s something that children and adults can both appreciate…I’ve never really done a straight animation but with computers today it’s possible to do some spectacular things.”
Later in a Q&A session on David Lynch’s fan site Tulpa Forum, Sabrina Sutherland, his longtime producer, also expressed her hopes that Snootworld’s development and release could come to fruition.
