Here's what I like about business credit cards

I've been operating my freelance writing business for nearly eight years and have been using a business credit card for several years now. I like that I get rewarded when I make purchases. Having a business card also helps me keep my business and personal finances separate, which makes tax season much easier.

I also like that my card includes useful money-saving benefits. One perk that I've used is cellphone protection coverage. I use my cellphone for work purposes and have cracked my phone screen on more than one occasion. This credit card benefit has saved me hundreds of dollars on repair costs.

Consider your business needs when exploring cards

There are many small business credit cards, but they won't all be a good fit for your business needs. It's a good idea to carefully review the features of each card before applying for one. Knowing what benefits are included, how the card earns rewards, and how you can redeem the rewards you earn is a must. Check out our list of the best business credit cards to find out more.
