Kinds of Kindness Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD Release Dates Set

The Kinds of Kindness digital, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates have been revealed for Yorgos Lanthimos ’ latest offbeat comedy movie from Searchlight Pictures.

The Kinds of Kindness digital release date is set for August 27, 2024, on digital retailers such as Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango. The Blu-ray and DVD release date comes a while later on October 8, 2024. All releases come with bonus extras.

Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person, and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

Kinds of Kindness is directed by Oscar nominee Yorgos Lanthimos, who has made a string of off-kilter gems such as Poor Things, The Lobster, The Favorite, and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou wrote the film, which is produced by Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Kasia Malipan.

The film stars Emma Stone (La La Land), Jesse Plemons (Killers of the Flower Moon), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), Margaret Qualley (Death Stranding), Hong Chau (The Menu), Mamoudou Athie (Elemental), Hunter Schafer (Cuckoo, Euphoria), and Joe Alwyn (Boy Erased)
