Former Tennessee Vols defensive back Emmanuel Moseley just can't catch a break.

On Tuesday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Moseley suffered a torn pec during Detroit Lions practice and will be out indefinitely.

This is the third straight season that Moseley has suffered a major injury.

In 2022, during his final season with the San Francisco 49ers, Moseley suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in Week 5.

Moseley signed a free agent deal with the Lions ahead of the 2023 season. The former Vol made his season-debut in Week 5 of the 2023 season and he tore his ACL in his right knee the same week (both ACL injuries occurred against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5).

The Greensboro, NC native was expected to play a key role in the Lions' secondary this season, but it's now unclear when he'll be able to return to action. It's been a brutal couple of seasons for a player that's had to earn every opportunity he's received in football.
