A recent Frontier Airlines flight was canceled after its pilot was arrested at George Bush International Airport in Houston, CBS News reports.

Pilot Seymour Walker , 45, was arrested on an assault-family violence warrant issued by the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Department of Public Safety on August 1, according to the Houston Police Department. Houston Police officers boarded Flight 3195 to Dallas/Fort Worth at around 4:00 p.m. after being informed by DFW law enforcement about the warrant.

Walker was taken into custody without incident before passengers began boarding the plane, at which point the flight was canceled as there was no immediate replacement crew member. Passengers affected by the cancelation were given the options of a full refund, flight credit, or re-accommodation on the next available Frontier flight, as well as a $100 flight voucher and overnight hotel accommodations if necessary.

“The activity occurred prior to the start of boarding for Flight 3195 scheduled from IAH to Dallas Forth Worth (DFW). A replacement crew member was not immediately available and therefore the flight was canceled,” Frontier said in a statement obtained by CBS News .

Court records obtained by Click2Houston.com showed that Walker bonded out of custody as of Saturday (August 3) afternoon. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed it was investigating the incident in a statement to CBS News .

"Airlines report incidents such as this to the FAA office that oversees them, and we investigate all pilot-related issues," the FAA said.
