As per Telemundo , the mission head of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, Larissa Schaerer, asked for Alonso to leave the Olympic village immediately, saying she “was creating an inappropriate environment for the Paraguayan team.”

However, as reported by the New York Post , Alonso wrote in an Instagram story on Monday, “I just wanted to clarify that they never took me out or expelled me from anywhere, stop spreading false information. I don’t want to give any statement but I am not going to let lies affect me either.”
