The Internet Is Obsessed With Mondo Duplantis Running To Kiss His Instagram Model Girlfriend Immediately After Breaking Pole Vault World Record

A gold medal to show off to his smokin’ hot girlfriend. Mondo Duplantis really does have it all going for him right now.

Olympic pole vaulter Armand “Mondo” Duplantis broke his own world record yesterday at the Olympics, clearing 6.25 meters and taking home the gold medal in the process. The Lafayette, Louisiana native and LSU alumni competes for Sweden in the Olympics, which is his mother’s home country.

And while the internet was impressed with Mondo bringing home yet another gold medal (he also won gold during the 2020 Olympics), it was his celebration that everybody was loving.

Immediately after landing the jump, the Olympian ran over to the crowd to give his girlfriend, Instagram model Desiré Inglander, a big ol’ kiss.

And the internet couldn’t get enough of the celebration:

And some people were…well a little jealous.

But after French Olympian Anthony Ammirati was blocked from a spot in the finals by his own manhood, some (jokingly, of course) pointed out that it may have actually been better for Duplantis if he HADN’T been able to clear the bar.

Hey, you can’t have EVERYTHING going for you, right?
