Amazon MGM Studios has welcomed the addition of Eric Andre (Bad Trip, Sing 2) and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad, Fast X) to the Balls Up cast for Peter Farrelly’s newest action comedy.

Melchior is slated to portray the upcoming movie’s female lead, while details about Andre’s character remain under wraps. This marks Melchior’s latest collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios after recently starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in Doug Liman’s Road House reboot.

Who is in the Balls Up cast?

Melchior and Andre will be joining previously announced cast members Mark Wahlberg (The Other Guys), Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird), Molly Shannon (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby), Eva De Dominici (The Cleaning Lady), and Benjamin Bratt (Miss Congeniality). The film is directed by Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber) from a screenplay written by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It is produced by Wernick, Reese, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Andrew Muscato, with Marc Fisher set as an executive producer. It is a production by Skydance and Amazon MGM Studios.

“Balls Up follows two American marketing executives who are fired for blowing a client sponsorship opportunity and decide to use their free tickets to a major soccer match,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Their drunken debauchery leads them to be hunted by every person across the country.”
