The United States men’s basketball team is entering the 2024 Olympic quarterfinals on a hot streak.
In the group round, the team, led by captain LeBron James , went 3-0, easily winning matchups against Serbia , South Sudan , and Puerto Rico.
They’re on quite the streak against Brazil as well; the two teams haven’t met in the Olympics since 1996, but Team USA is 9-0 in Olympic matchups against Brazil. Team USA has also never lost an Olympic quarterfinal, putting up a perfect 12-0 record so far.

United States and Brazil face off in the Olympic semifinals today, August 6, at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will air on USA Network and Peacock .
If the US wins today’s match, they’ll advance to the semifinals, which will be played on Thursday, August 8 at either 11:30 a.m. ET or 3:00 p.m. ET.
