Nigel Farage clashes with LBC host after being questioned on Southport conspiracy theories

Nigel Farage clashed with LBC host Tom Swarbrick as he was questioned on his comments regarding the Southport stabbings.

Following the attack last week, the Reform UK MP for Clacton posted a video to social media questioning why the incident was not being treated as terror-related and asking whether the “truth is being withheld from us” and asked whether the suspect was being monitored by security services.

The same day, police said the incident "is not currently being treated as terror-related”.

As the radio host told him he amplified misinformation, Mr Farage replied that he had asked for clarity.
